Tell the Story of Your Soul FAQ
Worksheets & Downloads
Where did my downloaded interactive worksheets go?
The interactive worksheets download as HTML files. They go to the same place on your device as any other download — your Downloads folder.
Here’s how to find them:
iPhone or iPad
Look for a small blue arrow near the top-right corner of Safari after downloading. Tap it to see your file. If you miss it, open the Files app, tap Browse, then go to On My iPhone → Downloads.
Android
You should see a notification at the top or bottom of your screen after downloading — tap to open. Otherwise, open your Files app (sometimes called “My Files” on Samsung) and look in the Downloads folder.
Computer (Mac or Windows)
Check your Downloads folder. On a Mac, open Finder and look in the sidebar. On Windows, open File Explorer and click Downloads. You can also press Ctrl+J (Windows) or Cmd+Option+L (Mac) in your browser to see recent downloads.
What app do I need to open the interactive worksheets?
The interactive worksheets are HTML files. To open a worksheet file, just tap or double-click it and it will open in your web browser. No special app needed.
If I download an interactive worksheet and then keep working on it, does my original download update too?
I downloaded a backup copy of my interactive worksheet by downloading it as a Word document. Where can I find it?
When you tap “Download as Word document,” the file saves to the Download folder on your device.

Do I have to download every time I leave?
No. Your work saves automatically in your browser as you type. You’ll see a small green indicator on each worksheet that says “Your work is saved in this browser.”
The download button is there for when you want a backup copy — something you can print, save to your own files, or return to outside the course. I do recommend downloading periodically, just in case.
I think I lost my work!
First, don’t panic — it’s almost always still there. Here are the most common reasons work seems to disappear, and what to try.
You’re in a different browser. If you did your work in Chrome but opened the worksheet in Safari (or vice versa), your work won’t show up. Try opening the page in the browser you originally used.
You cleared your browsing data. If you (or your phone) recently cleared cookies, cache, or browsing history, the saved data may have been removed along with it.
You used a private or incognito window. Private browsing doesn’t save anything after you close the window.
Someone else cleared the browser. On shared devices, another person may have cleared the data without realizing it.
If your work is truly gone, I know that’s frustrating. But here’s what I’ve learned — the second time through, people often surprise themselves. The soul remembers what it wrote, even when the browser doesn’t.
What app do I need to open the downloaded file?
The worksheets download as .docx files (Word documents). You can open them with Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or Apple Pages. On most devices, at least one of these is already available. If you need a free option, Google Docs works well on any device.
Can I print the worksheets?
Yes! Download the Word document, open it in any of the apps above, and print from there. The exported documents are formatted cleanly for printing.
Can I work on the worksheets from more than one device?
The worksheets save to whichever browser you’re using on whichever device you’re on, so your work won’t automatically sync between, say, your phone and your laptop. If you want to switch devices, I’d suggest downloading a copy from the device you’ve been working on first, so you have a record of what you’ve done.
Course Content
What is a telography?
A telography is a soul-journey narrative — the story of your life told through its most meaningful turns, structured around the liminal framework of pre-liminal, liminal, and post-liminal phases. It’s a word I created for this course, and it’s the heart of the work we do here. Think of it as a map of your becoming.
What are the three phases?
Every significant turn in your life moves through three phases. The pre-liminal is the before — the world as you knew it, the ground you were standing on. The liminal is the threshold — the in-between space where everything is uncertain and shifting. The post-liminal is the after — who you became on the other side.
These three phases are the framework for the entire course.
Can I go back and redo a lesson or worksheet?
Always. In fact, I’d encourage it. You may find that a lesson means something entirely different to you after you’ve moved through more of the course — or after life has given you a new turn to work with.
I’m stuck and don’t know what to write.
That’s okay. Being stuck is often its own kind of threshold.
Try starting with whatever is true right now — even if that’s “I don’t know what to say.” You might also go back to an earlier lesson and see if something new surfaces. And remember, there’s no wrong way to do this. Your soul already knows the story. Sometimes it just needs a little patience before it’s ready to share.
What is Of Beginnings and Ends, and do I need to read it for the course?
Of Beginnings and Ends is my novel — a work of literary fiction that grew out of the same ideas and framework this course is built on. I reference it throughout the lessons, but you absolutely do not need to read it to do the course. It’s a companion—not a prerequisite.
Facilitating a Tell the Story of Your Soul workshop
Can I use this course to lead a workshop or group?
I love that this work resonates enough that you'd want to share it! The course content, worksheets, and framework are copyrighted material, so please don't reproduce, redistribute, or teach from them without written permission. Each member of the group should purchase their own journal or online account. If you’d like a facilitator guide, you can find it here. (Facilitator Guide forthcoming.)
Can I share the worksheets or course materials with a friend?
The worksheets and course content are for enrolled members only. If someone in your life would benefit from this work, I'd be grateful if you pointed them toward the course so they can have the full experience from the beginning. That context matters — the worksheets are designed to be held by the lessons around them.
Can I post about the course on social media or my blog?
Please do! I'd love that. You're welcome to share your own experience, what the course has meant to you, and link to the course page. I just ask that you not reproduce the course content itself — the lesson text, worksheet prompts, or framework — in your posts. Your story of doing the work is yours to tell however you like.
Community & Support
Is there a way to connect with other people in the course?
Yes! Course members have access to our Substack community through Libations from the Liminal. It’s a space for conversation, reflection, and encouragement as you do this work.
How do I get help if something isn’t working?
Check through the questions above first — the answer is usually here. If you’re still stuck, reach out to me directly using the contact information below. I’ll get back to you within a couple of business days.
May you be held in grace as you continue becoming.
